Bedroom with a wooden bed, upholstered bench, warm bedside lighting and a large window

Bedroom interiors · Jamshedpur

Bedrooms planned to the last shelf.

Wardrobe internals, lighting and the bed position decided together — so the room is quiet to live in, not just dressed for a photograph.

Sleep, storage, and the last shelf.

A bedroom usually gets the leftover attention. The wardrobe is ordered from a catalogue, the bed is pushed against a wall, and the lighting is a single ceiling point that is too bright to sleep under and too dim to dress by. Storage then spills onto chairs, and the room never quite settles.

We start with how the room is used — who sleeps there, what needs to be stored, whether anyone reads in bed or gets ready in the same space. The wardrobe is drawn to those answers, the lighting is layered, and the bed is placed so the walkways actually work. The room has to function at 6am as well as look finished at noon.

What makes a bedroom hold up

Hardware you never think about, a shutter that still closes in monsoon humidity, and lighting that does not wake the other person.

Timber-clad ceiling above a cane-front sideboard on a herringbone wooden floor
Timber that can take a wardrobe run and a headboard wall
Brass tap and stone counter with timber bar stools
One metal finish for handles, lamps and the odd fitting
Terracotta and striped linen bedding against a light oak headboard
Fabric chosen for how it feels at night, not only how it photographs
Quartz counter with a patterned tile backsplash and pendant lights
Surfaces that survive daily wiping, not just the handover photo

Questions we get asked

If yours is not here, ask us directly — we would rather answer it before you commit to anything.

How much does a bedroom interior cost in Jamshedpur?

The wardrobe is usually the largest line item, and it scales with length, internals and finish. We measure the wall, agree hanging versus shelves, and give you an itemised estimate — wardrobe, lighting, painting and any side units priced separately — so you can see what to keep.

Can you work around a bed we already own?

Yes, and we should measure it at the first visit. A king that is staying decides the walkways, the bedside units and often which wall the wardrobe can sit on. Designing first and squeezing the bed in later is how rooms end up with a 400mm gap that is useless to both of you.

Do you do sliding and hinged wardrobes?

Both. Sliding is usually the right call when the door swing would hit the bed or a dressing table; hinged is better when you want full-width access and the room can spare the swing. We will recommend one from the measured plan, not from a catalogue preference.

How long does a bedroom take?

Typically two to four weeks on site once the design is approved, depending on whether there is loft work, panelling or electrical changes. The wardrobe carcasses are made off site while painting happens, which is what keeps the room from sitting empty for months.

Can you do just the wardrobe and leave the rest?

Yes. Plenty of bedrooms only need the storage sorted. We still draw the bed position and the lighting points against the wardrobe, even if we are not installing them, so the unit does not fight the rest of the room later.
